Georgia House of Representatives Democratic Caucus

The Georgia General Assembly House Democratic Caucus is hiring externs for the Fall. Externs will be reviewing bills and statutes, drafting legislation and talking points, and performing public policy research.

Fall semester students will work from approximately from August through the end of December. Students will gain insight into public policy and the legislative process. Exceptional students will be given the opportunity to interact directly with representatives and draft legislation. 

Applicants should have excellent writing skills and be very detail oriented. A high degree of maturity, discretion and an interest in government are necessary.
